Tibetan tingsha (or Ting-Sha) (Tibetan: ཏིང་ཤགས་, Wylie: ting-shags) are small (6.5cm) cymbals used in prayer and rituals. Two cymbals are joined together by a leather strap or chain. The cymbals are struck together producing a clear and high pitched tone. Tingsha are very thick and produce a unique long ringing tone.
Use your tingsha combined with singing bowls and other instruments in meditation, music and sound healing.
Made from bell metal these gorgeous cymbals have a unique vibration that omits a divine harmonic sound.
How to use:
Hold the cord so the two cymbols hang evenly. Gently strike the two cymbols together to create a harmonic vibration.
